Slot 3: 4th & 6th September with tech (12pm-6pm) on 2nd August

What we are looking for
New works, productions of rarely performed pieces and multi-art productions which combine classical music with other art forms.

What we offer
- Inclusion in the Opera in the City programme and marketing: Your own production page on our website, festival poster and flyers, evening programmes, and inclusion in the festival press release.
- The space of the Bridewell Theatre (120 seats) with access to the space from 6pm-10pm on performance days
- Tech time (8 hours / 6 hours / 2 hours depending on slot)
- A duty technician for your first four hours of tech, who will talk you through the house tech.
- Box office service (online and on the door)

Visiting companies will receive 50% of their box office intakes (the other 50% need to be paid to the Bridewell Theatre for the use of their space, Time Zone Theatre doesn’t receive a cut.).

Companies are expected to:
- pay a participation fee of £200 (main slot, 3 performances) / £150 (2 performances) or £50 (one-off performance) to Time Zone Theatre towards the duty technician, box office service and marketing expenses, all of which is paid for by us.
- provide their own operator for the performances, or use ours for £40/show (4 hour call, 6pm-10pm).
- provide one usher for their performances to support the FOH manager.
- actively support the marketing of their show.

Please note that the festival can not act as producer for visiting companies, and therefore can not accept submitted scores or project proposals which don’t have a producer attached to it.

To submit your project, please email the artistic director Pamela Schermann at [email protected] with a outline of the project, information about the producing company and artists involved, and any additional material such as video clips, production shots or reviews of previous shows. Submission deadline: 1st March 2018.
